Youth Academy - Ages 10-14
Youth Academy Program (U11-U14)
NSA's Youth Academy program introduces players to more complex topics while continuing to reinforce technical aptitude and excellence. Players will learn new ways to manage space in both attack and defense, learn more complex combination play and develop a deeper understanding of team concepts.
Players at this stage should show increased commitment and a desire to learn and grow as a player. All training sessions will be run by licensed, professional coaches and will challenge players to play outside their comfort zone while making sessions fun at the same time.
Coaches will also encourage players to take responsibility for their development and performance. As a club we will continue to promote excellence both on and off the field.
Teams will play in both tournament and league play. Academy teams also train three times per week to accelerate development.
U11-U14 PROGRAM BREAKDOWN
3 x 1.5 hour training sessions per week
Free Strength & Conditioning training sessions for both outdoor Fall and Spring seasons
Free Foot Skills training sessions for both outdoor Fall and Spring seasons
August Back to School AND March Spring Break camps for 4 days
Indoor Winter training once/week from November through March
16 League Games
8 - 10 Indoor LEAGUE Games with Chicagoland Indoor Soccer League
VEO Video taping of games and Coach analysis
In-Person Player Evaluation

Monday nights at Nike Park turf field at 288 W. Diehl Rd.
2nd and 3rd Sessions at Nike park and possibly Frontier Park or Knoch Park, as sunset times gets earlier and lights are necessary
Winter -Schedule is determined by the indoor leagues with either Chicagoland Indoor Soccer League or The Naperville Yard at 1607 Legacy Circle, Naperville and possible games at The Westmont Yard
OR if playing 9 v 9 winter league, the games could be scheduled with the Chicagoland Indoor Soccer League
